Chicken Tikka 


CHICKEN TIKKA IS A WORLD FAMOUS APPETIZER AMONG INDIANS ARABS AND AMERICANS. IT’S A TANGY SPICY AND BUTTERY TASTE GIVES A UNIQUE FLAVOUR FOR EVERY AGE GROUPS. IT’S AN BBQ APPITIZER SERVED ON ORDER FRESHLY PREPARED MAKES MORE TASTIER AND JUICY WITH MINT CORIANDER CHUTNEY.

 






First Marination Ingredients

1 kg boneless chicken cubes

2 tsp   Ginger- garlic paste

3 tsp   lemon juice 

½ tsp   black pepper

Salt to taste

 

Method of prepration

Take washed chicken in a mixing bowl and put all spices into the bowl and mix well and keep a side for 10 minutes. We are doing this process so that chicken will absorb salt and pepper very well and taste good. 

 

 

Second Marination Ingredients

1 tbs        natural orange color


 

1 tbs        fenugreek leaves


12 gm      Kashmiri chilies powder


1 cup      Hanged curd 


1 tsp       cumin powder


2 tsp        lemon juice


½ tsp      garam masala


3 tbsp     mustard oil 


1 tsp      Roasted chickpea powder

 

Method of Preparation

 

Take a big bowl and mix together all the spices together with mustard oil and hanged curd. Take a bowl of marinated chicken and combine together with the second marination. Rubbing the chicken with spices is plays an important role in this recipe. Place the marinated chicken into the fridge for at least 2 to 8 hours. After that make ready your charcoal grill to grill these tikkas. Put chicken into the charcoal skewer and grilled it on a charcoal grill or in tandoor its up to your choice on medium flame by turning all the sides. basting with butter once that enhance its taste and softer chicken tikka.  Serve with coriander chutney and pickled onion.
